An easy recipe for Tequila marinated chicken with fettuccine pasta coated in Lime-Cream sauce and a simple step to add depth of flavor to the sauce!

Combine all the marinade ingredients in a bowl (except the chicken)

Mix with 75ml of water, then add the chicken and marinate in the fridge for at least 30 mins

Heat a griddle and cook the chicken breasts fr approx. 8 mins each side, or until they are cooked.

While the pasta is cooking, add the butter, shallots and peppers and cook until soft. Then ad the reserved marinade and bring to the boil. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add the remaining ingredients, and cook for 2 minutes, then add the fettucini
